Hair wax usually acts a bit like a paste, but is typically lighter, slightly more fluid and easier to apply. Due to either a higher oil or higher water content, hair wax is typically softer than a paste and offers less hold but a higher degree of remoldability.

Hair waxes often have a low to medium shine, meaning that in most cases they avoid the "wet look" that can occur with pomades and gels. Instead, non-matte waxes typically impart a shine that enhances your hair's natural color and, in small amounts, creates contrast and texture that can work very well in both relaxed and formal hairstyles.

What styles are best created with hair wax?
Hair wax can be used for pretty much any style - styling products change the look of the style, not the style itself. Hair waxes are a soft and shiny product that doesn't have much hold, but are great for creating a shine.

Should you wash out hair wax before bed?
Yes, we recommend it... especially if you move around a lot in bed. The wax gets on your bed linen and lands all over your face when you move.
